Defense against a right front kick to the groin:
As the opponent is executing their right front kick, take a small evasive step to the left and at the same time, use a right downward block. Just as the right hand makes contact with the opponent’s kicking leg, the right hand should open up and invert to cup and capture the opponent’s kick. Execute a right front kick to the opponent’s groin and then place the opponent’s foot at the 2 o’clock position. Step down with your right foot at the 1 o’clock position into a horse stance. With your right hand, either grab the opponent’s hair or forehead. Pull the opponent’s head backwards to expose their face. At this point, the opponent’s face should be pointed straight up towards the sky. Execute a left downward elbow strike to the opponent’s face.
