For the past several months, some places have experienced social unrest. That unrest can quickly devolve into a full-blown riot where violent criminal acts take place sometimes without warning. People in the vicinity can be caught up in the moment to either become part of the criminal act or targeted victims.
People can be curious and want to see for themselves what is or has already occurred. I implore you not to go to any scene or location of social unrest unless it is your job to attend such issues. By that job, I mean trained law enforcement or rescue personnel. Well meaning innocent people have been targeted for violence. It is now common for shootings, stabbings, beatings, robberies and other violent crimes to be a part of “not” peaceful protest. Stay home and stay safe!
