You are taking a flight to a well-deserved vacation spot in a much warmer climate.  Just as you have taken your seat, the flight takes off and you have just finished your in-flight snack, you notice a commotion.  You look to your right and notice that a passenger in the seats just over the wing (you know, the ones where the flight attendant has asked each person if they can assist during an emergency to open the door) is standing up and forcefully kicking his seat in an effort to get the seat to recline.  No other passengers are doing anything. You ask the flight attendant if she needs help restraining the individual and she said yes. 

As you approach the individual, have no other passengers between you and the person kicking their seat.  Without striking the passenger, what method, tactic or technique would you use in this situation to ultimately take physical control of the somewhat violent passenger?
