Regardless of the holiday season (From New Year’s Day 2019 throughout the year to New Year’s Eve 2019, there are people using the holiday to notice other people who are out having a good time and will do what they do to exploit them.
Using the Christmas season as an example, violent criminals will watch those who have what they want and will do whatever they need to do to take money and valuables from others. Anytime you or your family are out in public, know that criminals are also out there, some of them watching and waiting. Be extra careful and have a plan for what you may do if confronted.
If a criminal wants to rob you, do not resist. Allow the criminal to take the personal property and hopefully leave without harming those present. If the crime changes to that of causing serious injuries to their victim, then you must do whatever it takes to survive! This is the place that you resist. This is also the place that you have envisioned and practiced Martial Arts techniques to save your life during a violent confrontation. Remember, personal property can be replaced. A human life cannot ever be replaced.
