With the election just around the corner, it might be wise to consider that not everyone will be happy with who ultimately is elected to the highest offices. Some people may resort to civil unrest either before, during or even after the election is over.
You should be absolutely aware of what people may be prone to doing in the areas where you reside and recreate. Tune in to your local news every so often. And if you plan to travel to areas outside your home, do a little research to see what’s going on there as well. Stay away from protest sites because they can go from good to bad in a heartbeat. Take great care to avoid confrontation and remember that the most important thing is to survive a violent encounter, not win an argument!
